I really enjoy your blog and without sounding condescending, well done on pursuing the development of black and Asian history into the curriculum, I greatly admire you for doing so. This is an area that should be integral to the curriculum as opposed to a gap fill at the end of term in order to maintain a semblance of political correctness. To be fair to many schools, I feel if resources for black British history were more widely available (as opposed to accessible) more schools would adopt a broader curriculum. However, it is due to people such as yourself that many schools, at least, acknowledge the importance of black history, and this is an important step.
